RECYCLING NOTICE TO RESIDENTS

Dear Castleton Transfer Station Permit Holders,

We are writing to inform you the black plastic is NOT recyclable. Please remove all black plastic from your recycling prior to bringing it to our Transfer Station. If black plastic is found in the bins it needs to be removed. It will not be accepted at the recycling center.

We prefer to pay our Town Employees to engage in meaningful & productive activities while at work which does not include picking out items from bins that are clearly posted as prohibited. Please read the signs onsite and be mindful of the recycling rules.
