HeyGov!

HeyGov is our newest platform designed to allow you better access to services in the Town of Castleton.

From making tax payments to purchasing a transfer station permit to registering to play pickleball, you can register and pay for it all under one account.

You can view and pay property tax and sewer charge bills online by debit or credit card or directly from your checking or savings account. You will need your parcel id (not your SPAN #) and last name as shown on your tax bill. 

IMPORTANT* When reviewing your monthly financial statements, charges will appear as Town of Castleton or www.castletonvermont.org.  Refunds are issued in accordance to the individual program policy. Please contact us PRIOR to initiating a dispute with your institution if you don't recognize a charge. A disputed transaction will result in additional fees charged to you. As a reminder, all credit card transactions are initiated by you, the user. Card information is not kept on file. 

Convenience fees are charged by the processor, Stripe. Cards are charged 2.9% plus 30 cents per transaction, (in-person card transactions are 2.7% plus 5 cents). For tax and sewer payments, ACH debits from your checking or savings account are capped at $5.00 per transaction. You will be prompted to select your banking institution and to log in.

As always, payments are accepted by cash or check with no processing fee. Simply select the pay in person option on the application and stop by (in person 8:30-4:30 M-F or drop by box 24/7) or by mail to 263 Route 30 N, Bomoseen, VT 05732.
