Youth Soccer Season 2023
Castleton Recreation is in collaboration with Slate Valley United to prepare an exciting soccer season for our young players! Please keep reading for more information.
Offered this year will be: an instructional group for K-2nd graders, a 3rd/4th grade boys team (U10), and a 3rd/4th grade girls team (U10). Depending on interest and final registration numbers, the two U10 teams may be combined to compete as one co-ed team. U10 teams will be competing in the Rutland Rec Youth Soccer League. In the case of two separate U10 teams (a girls team and a boys team), players and their families may choose which team the player would like to join. Families are welcome to connect with the Rec Director for support/guidance if needed. Players of all genders, including trans and nonbinary players, are welcome and encouraged to join Castleton Rec teams.
Practices will be held on Dewey Field in Castleton, beginning early September. (Practice and game schedules TBD.) Please consult the Rec Calendar often for updated practice schedules.
Castleton Recreation seeks 1-2 community sponsors to tackle a couple of needed improvements for the youth soccer season.
