Director’s Report
Youth Sports
There are enough girls to have one team (coach pitch) and two coaches have been secured. A request for field use at CES has been made for Tuesday and Thursday for practices. There are 12 players and registration fees are $60 per player. Softball is for grades 3-6. Little League team(s) will use Dewey Filed or Hydeville for practices Monday and Wednesday. N. Parker will contact parents for the possibility of finding team sponsors to help with the coast of shirts and hats for the team members.
Athletic Fields
The discussion centered around replacing the dugouts at Dewey Field for the upcoming season. M. Ryan will reach out to a local contractor for design and pricing. There is interest in sponsoring a Volunteer Day at Dewey and Hydeville fields to get them ready for the season. Possibly contact GE to receive help on its Work Day.
CVS Discussion
B.E. Ramos present a draft of the Rec Center Revenue Streams for discussion. The Commission reviewed the document and asked questions and offered opinions to its viability. No action was taken and discussion is ongoing.
Motion to adjourn by N. Parker seconded by A. Niklasson.
