Think Tank: Castleton Gardens

Open Meetings Held Weekly on Areas of Community Interest
Event Date:
Thursday, August 3, 2023 - 5:30pm to 6:30pm

Do you like to garden? Collect seeds? Propagate cuttings? Do you like building cold frames or raised beds? Composting?

Whether you said yes to one or a few of these activities, we know exactly where you can go to channel all of that good gardening energy!

The Castleton Garden Club will hold weekly meetings throughout the summer to organize various garden-related projects. Sound interesting? Stop by the Castleton Free Library to check it out, weekly on Thursdays at 5:30-6:30pm.

A few quick facts about these meetings:

  • Free! All ages! Castleton residents AND nonresidents welcome! Registration is not required.
  • Weekly attendance is not required to participate, but regular attendance to some degree helps keep momentum behind group projects and achievements.
  • Although Castleton Rec is a facilitator of these community meetings, they're organized for and by community members like you! The point of contact is Martie Alexander, and contact info can be exchanged during these meetings.

Thanks for your interest!
