Sewing Social

Event Date:
Thursday, April 27, 2023 - 4:00pm to 6:00pm

Interested or curious in learning how to sew? Every Thursday this April, our very own expert volunteer, Peggy Ryan-Heibler, will host drop-in social hours to welcome beginners and curious folks to the world of sewing!

Follow along as she spearheads a new project, describes her process, and shares the satisfying reward of learning a handy craft. Ask questions, chit-chat, and have a sampler of sewing! If you like what you see, let our volunteer know. With enough interest, we can organize more structured and advanced classes to continue the guided learning.

Already know how to sew? Would you enjoy some company while you work? You're invited, too! Bring your supplies and sew in fun, friendly company. Engage with interested beginners and show them your tips and tricks!

This gathering is open to both kids and adults, and free! Registration is not required, but please sign in when you arrive.

Thursdays in April (4-6pm) at the Rec Center (Room 8).
