Public Safety Message for Motorists

Dear Castleton Residents,

         As we look at the incoming weather for the remainder of the week, we just wanted to inform everyone that that the Highway Department will be operating with a smaller fleet of plow trucks for the next couple days; therefore, it may take longer to clean up some of the less traveled roads. The schools have been notified and this message has been placed on Front Porch Forum and the Town of Castleton's Facebook page. Public safety is our number one concern, so on behalf of the police chief, fire chief, and DPW Foreman, please practice patience and use caution while traveling. This includes allowing yourself extra time if you must commute. Thank you and stay safe.
