Information Regarding 2026-2027 TS Permits

ANNOUNCEMENT

Transfer Station

The Transfer Station will be closed on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Patrons are asked to plan ahead and dispose of your trash on the Thursday before or the Tuesday following.

2026-2027 Transfer Station Permits will go on sale beginning June 16th, but only at the Town Office. Sales at the Transfer Station will commence on June 18th. Attached is a copy of the permit application and information on some administrative/procedural changes. Here are the highlights:

1. HeyGov is no longer an option to purchase and pay for permits online.

2. Permits will be sold at two locations rather than one. Permits will be sold at the Town Office as well but only using cash or a check. We want to provide two venues where patrons can purchase the permits, but a card reader will cost $600 to add one at the Town Office, so only cash or checks can be used at the Town Office. Patrons will be able to use a credit/debit card at the Transfer Station to purchase permits, stickers, and all other Transfer Station activities.
