EXTREME HEAT ALERT: Stay Safe and Cool

Cooling Center Locations Thursday July 2nd and Friday July 3rd

Free Cooling Stations Open
If your home lacks air conditioning, please visit one of these free community cooling centers to rest and cool down:
•    American Legion Post 50: Open 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
•    Public Library: Thursday 12PM-8PM and Friday 10AM-4PM. Library membership not needed to use the facility as a cooler center.
•    Fire Station - A backup location should the Legion Post or Castleton Free Library lose prime power.

A severe heat wave is impacting our area, bringing dangerously high temperatures. Extreme heat can cause serious health emergencies. Cooling stations are open to help you stay safe.
