The Town of Castleton, is providing you with notice that the Town has completed an update to the Castleton Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP) and is seeking comment on the final draft through October 23, 2023 – see attached.
A brief overview of the Plan will be provided at the October 9, 2023 Selectboard meeting followed by a public comment session at the beginning of their next regular meeting on October 23, 2023. In addition, comments on the draft Plan can be submitted to Mike Jones, Castleton Town Manager, by email until October 23, 2023 - manager@castletonvt.org
We look forward to any thoughts you may have on the Town’s vulnerabilities to natural hazards and the strategy they have developed to mitigate these risks.
