Float Bridge Road Causeway West Side Reconstruction

The Town of Castleton will be accepting bids to construct improvements to the western portion of the Float Bridge Road causeway crossing Lake Bomoseen. The project includes the installation of 24” – 36” blast rock slopes adjacent to the gabion walls supporting the causeway.   An Army Corps of Engineers, State of Vermont Lake Encroachment and State of Vermont Construction General permits apply to this project.  

Bid documents, plans and technical specifications are available online at http://www.castletonvermont.org.  A pre-bid meeting, which is strongly recommended, will be held at the site on Float Bridge Road causeway at 10 a.m., on June 29, 2018.  Bids shall be submitted to Town of Castleton – Michael A. Jones, Town Manager - P.O. Box 727 – Castleton, VT  05735 on or before 3:30 p.m. on July 13, 2018.   As an alternate method, bids may be submitted by email to manager@castletonvt.org.
