CVS Meeting

There is an ad-hoc committee meeting at the Village School tomorrow, Thursday, starting at 5:30 pm with a self-guided tour of the building with the regular meeting to follow. This subcommittee is charged with exploring outcomes for the building. The Recreation Commission is concerned that there is a clear and present danger of not having use of the building for the recreation department. In March, the voters overhelmingly voted to buy the building and the voters also, voted by a substantial margin, to hire a full time recreation director.  The Recreation Commission has not had a home since being commissioned in the early 1970's. All programming and events have been organized at home by commission members. It is time that we move our town forward and see that it has a recreation center that serves all the citizens of Castleton. Please join us at this very important meeting.
