Legal Uses and Public Input

There is a public meeting this evening to discuss the legal uses of the American Rescue Plan Act funding the Town is projected to receive this year and next year. The Town is scheduled to receive approximately $1.3M over the two years. The meeting tonight is to educate residents on what the money can legally be used for, as well as to solicit input from the residents on what they would like to see for the Town that falls under "General Provisions of Government Services" and are eligible for consideration under Appendix 1 "Expenditure Categories" of the June 2021 U.S. Department of Treasury's Compliance and Reporting Guidance, State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds, Version: 1.1
