TOWN MEETING

The legal voters of the Town of Castleton, in the County of Rutland, and the State of Vermont, are hereby warned to meet at the Jeffords Center for Science & Mathematics Auditorium at Castleton University in the Town of Castleton on Monday, March 6, 2017  at 6:30 pm to act on Articles 1 through 5 and on the first Tuesday in March, being March 7, 2017 at *10:00 am at  the Town of Castleton Public Safety Building (A/K/A as the Castleton Fire Station) at 273 Rte. 30 N in said Town to vote by Australian Ballot on Articles 6 through 50.  Polls close at 7:00 pm on March 7, 2017 The end time set forth on the website is only an estimate of the end time of the evening portion of Town Meeting.  In addition, after the Town Meeting is adjourned to Australian Ballot the next day, the Moderator will remain with members of the the School Board and will moderate an informational meeting with regard to the School District ballot the next day.  The discussion will include Act 46 consolidation to be presented for vote the next day.
